you find a notebook sitting on the table and flip to the section called major arcana....you begin to read..hearing her voice in your mind as you read the words making it appear almost as though she is reading to you.... Some history and info about the major arcana
"The major arcana consists of 22 cards..they are as follows (some names may differ depending on the deck)"
0. The Fool|I. The Magician |II. The HighPriestess| III.The Empress | IV. The Emperor | V.The Hierophant | VI. The Lovers | VII. The Chariot | VIII. Strength | IX. The Hermit
"Listed below are the divinitory meanings of each of these cards...though each card has both a divinitory and a reverse meaning I chose only to write the divinitory down....."
The twenty-two cards of the major arcana are thought to be magickal...even their names are...things such as.. high priestess, magician and hierophant. Magic and mystery..are what make up the history and meanings of each card..
These cards...unlike the minor arcana....are not like a normal deck of playing cards. The pictures and meanings are believed to have a more spiritual backround.Throughout history they have been linked to the twenty-two letter hebrew alphabet....also astrology....alchemy...and the Qabalah. Because one of the places where the concept was thought to have originated was Greece they have also been connected with the magical wisdom of the Greek god Hermes Trismegistus.

Note... the cards used are from the Rider Waite Deck I believe (I could be wrong). All information on this page can be interpreted differently depending on the deck used and the person reading. I did my best to combine the meanings of different decks, but that doesn't mean I did it exactly right. The information from this page came from:
